About 3 days ago it was reported in the news that 43 farmers who were working inside their rice farm attacked by Boko Haram insurgents and they were all slaughtered like goats, as their heads were cut off and placed on their stomach. Due to the attack, a man Mallam Abubakar Yunus who lost two of his sons to the attack have narrated the ordeal of what he went through while Boko Haram insurgents were attacking them on the farmland to Daily Trust Newspaper. Mallam Abubakar Yunus said that, before his two sons were killed one of the insurgents asked him that, what was his relationship with the two young men? And he answered him saying he was their father, and despite answering, they beheaded his two boys in his presence. He said that at around 10:30 a.m, boko Haram fighters game wearing Army uniform and carrying sophisticated weapons to the farmland where the village's most abled bodies were working and killed them. It was alleged that after the fighters killed the farm workers, they started burning farmlands they set their eyes on and also killed other villagers aside the ones working on the farm.
