I don't fail to recognize Nigerians who have shown integrity and displayed an act of kindness.
It is almost impossible to see a Nigerian who would return a missing item and when we see one, it is very important to celebrate them.
I was checking some updates on Facebook when I saw a post of a Student who returned a missing phone.
According to a post by Chidiebube Okeoma on Facebook, a honest boy identified as Philemon Igbokwe who is a student of Federal Government College, Rumuokoro, in Port Harcourt returned a brand new android phone.
The boy saw the phone at the rest room at a wedding event in Port Harcourt when he saw a phone at the event.
On seeing the phone, he was looking for ways to let the organizers know that he saw a missing phone and when he saw one of the organizers, he handed the phone to him.
The MC of the event announced how a young boy returned a phone and others were astonished to see a honest person in this present era.
The man who posts his picture who chaired the event announced a cash reward of N50,000 and another person also pledged to give him N50,000.
As if that was not enough, another man pledged to give him $500 and that was how Philemon Igbokwe walked home with the sum of N340,000.
Philemon Ignokwe would have gone with the phone and probably sold it for N30,000 or N40,000. His honesty and integrity earned him N340,000 in just one day.
Some Nigerians have reacted to what he did as most of them praised him and prayed for him to go far in life.
May God bless him and take him to places. Like, share and drop a comment.
